Welch
and Rushe believes strongly that much of a company's
success lies squarely on the shoulders of its employees.
For that reason, Welch and Rushe only hires trained,
qualified and licensed, United Association (UA) certified
journeymen. The UA has been supplying the construction
industry with the most highly trained and skilled
workers available in North America for over a century.
Each journeyman has completed five years of union
apprenticeship consisting of on-the-job training along
with extensive classroom studies in their respective
field. Safety and health are important elements of
the UA apprenticeship and journeyman training programs,
with proper safety procedures being taught at every
stage of the UA training programs. Building upon the
UA training, Welch and Rushe emphasizes safety
first on all of its projects to meet or exceed
all safety and health requirements.
Many
of the employees have over twenty years of dedication
– a true testament to the strong work environment
at Welch and Rushe and one of the key reasons the
company has been so successful to date.
Welch and Rushe is an
Equal Opportunity Employer:
Welch and Rushe maintains policies and practices that
are designed to prevent discrimination against any
qualified employee or applicant on the basis of race,
color, religion, ancestry, national origin, sex, age,
marital status, sexual orientation, disability and
medical condition to the extent protected by law.
This policy of nondiscrimination applies to all employment
practices, including hiring, compensation, benefits,
promotion, training, and termination. |
